Turn a spare phone into a macro pad for your computer.
Tap a button on your phone and your computer gets the shortcut right away, over your own Wi-Fi. No account, no server, free.
This pad works. Tap a button and watch what the computer receives.
Three steps to get going
Install the Companion on your computer
The Companion is the program that receives commands from your phone. It runs on Windows, macOS and Ubuntu.
Open the app on your phone and scan the QR code
Your phone and computer share one Wi-Fi network. Scan the QR code shown in the Companion and you are connected.
Arrange the buttons your way
Add buttons in the Companion and assign a shortcut or an app to open. Your phone updates as soon as you save.
Every tile on the pad does a different job
Buttons are not only for shortcuts. Some tiles show things, some slide, some count.
One tap, a whole sequence
Give a button several steps: send a shortcut, open an app, type a saved piece of text, run a command. The Companion runs them in order.
Hear your computer on your phone
Add an audio button and tap it: your computer’s sound plays through the speaker or headphones connected to your phone.
Counters and timers
Count things, run a stopwatch or a countdown right on the pad.
CPU, RAM, clock
Display tiles fed by your computer.
Volume slider
Drag on your phone to set the computer’s volume.
A board for each job
Make separate boards for streaming, gaming and work. Switch boards on one device and every connected device follows.
You need two installs
The Companion on your computer and the Stream Pad app on your phone. Both are free.
